    Default Theory & analysis?

I think this site needs a subforum for theory & analysis. I'd suggest lumping theory, analysis & composition under one subforum, so Today's composers should changed to include those topic, by changing the description at least and preferably the name too. What do you think?

These topics would fit in the subforum at least:

    Harmony textbook for beginner
    Music Analysis

Thank you for the suggestion, and we will evaluate this possibility.

And, we ask the general population of the forum to voice their opinions on the above suggestion.

Yeah I think this would be a great addition. Theres a lot of good talk about the aesthetical qualities and so on. But I would like to see a area devoted to the mechanics of the pieces being discussed.
I adore art...when I am alone with my notes, my heart pounds and the tears stream from my eyes, and my emotion and my joys are too much to bear.

I agree but is there a soft ware package that would enable posters to give a written example?

If you mean as in placing examples from the score and such, well I have seen been done before here on this forum, so I suppose there is.
