Default the 42nd tier, part 1

We're splitting the 42th tier of the Talk Classical community's favorite and most highly recommended works.

This tier currently has 105 works; based on the results of our voting, we'll move up about half of them to the 41st tier, and a few of the works that get the most votes up to join the works we've just left behind on the 40th tier (where they will have a chance to continue climbing next time we do that tier).

So on this thread each participant gets up to 20 +1 votes and up to 5 +2 votes. You don't have to use all of them, and you don't have to put all your votes in a single post, but please put them in groups of 5 so I can confirm that I'm not skipping any of your votes!

Voting on this thread will be open 72 hours.

I will tally the votes on this Google sheet; please note the tabs on the bottom left for "Part 1" and "Part 2."

Have fun! Also, please be considerate! Someone, hopefully, will be influenced by our selections!
