    Default Help!

    Hi All,

I am having a crisis! Last week I heard the most amazing piece on the radio. It was from the Classical or romantic period but (just to be as vague as possible!) it could be later. 90% sure its not from before that time. The majority was in a minor key and had the most amazing suspense before the cadences which built up to a melody like no other. So to try and describe as best as possible it had lots of movement in the strings & the chord progressions resolved brilliantly. It was fast (Allegro or Presto), I heard a magnificent imperfect & perfect cadence and it modulated once while I was listening but as I have not keeping on top of this I couldnt work it out on the move.

Can anyone please help?!?! This has been driving me crazy!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Thanks

Hello, at first welcome to the forums,

Sorry to say that, but your descriptions fits together with so many Romantic literature! What radio channel was it? Ask them, they will know, what they have been playing.

    All the best,
    Daniel
