Default Mozart La Clemenza di Tito

Just heard this at the Met broadcast other day. Terrific music even if plot naff. Any recommendations for recordings?

This is the one I have:

I would say that if you like period performances and you like Jacobs, then you will probably like this. I'm not that keen on the opera itself and the only other recording I have heard is the Boehm one, which has Julia Varady in (but I can't really remember much else about it).

I'll second the Jacobs recording. I really enjoy his entire collection of Mozart operas. Admittedly, I haven't listened to other recordings of this one.

I've always enjoyed this one, based on a very successful production at Covent Garden. The singing is superb.

I'll second the Davis recording, although I much prefer the album art I made.

Fagioli's sung it - but no recording, as far as I know.
