I am sure Fritz will be so kind.
Theatre, a forum for public debate, an arena for cathartic spectacle and somewhere for vain bitchy people to show off in front of big crowds!

Well it is a little confusing especially the first time, but you start as if you are simply beginning a new thread, but below the text box where there is a large button on the right for "SUBMIT NEW THREAD"--Don't. Rather, keep scrolling down as immediately below the submit button is a series of ADDITIONAL OPTIONS. The last of these options is CREATE A POLL. Click the box and then you have to indicate the number of options (max 15).

Once you have entered the number of options (default = 4) there is a second "SUBMIT NEW THREAD" button below it, which you will then click to get the thing rolling. At this point I have no example to follow as it will be a commitment and I don't have any poll ideas floating around now, but it should be pretty straight forward. You will enter the poll question and then the options. You will be given choices such as making votes visible or keeping them anonymous and whether it can be multiple choice or single choice.

Once you have all that entered all that stuff, there will be a way to make the final submission (probably a SUBMIT button. After that, I am not sure but maybe you won't see it for a while until a moderator reviews and releases it. Just like a normal thread you can edit the first post (but not the poll question or options). If all else fails (you screw it up) call for a moderator to fix it.

Tip: Figure out your Thread title (similar to or same as poll question), first post, poll question, and poll options in a document file and then when you create the poll you can copy and paste. That way you can review it ahead of time.

Fritzi! You always come through for us. Many Thanks. I have printed out your instructions. In light of some recent threads on here I have decided to hold off for awhile with my poll. (Plz give Cookie a cookie from me.)

    Glad I could help.

Better yet, how about a peanut butter filled pretzel (no salt added variety) for Cookie?
