    Default The Composers Game

I'm starting this game as a response to an earlier game that I found to be problematic and hectic.

    Rules:

    1. You have 1 voting session each day.

    2. For each voting session, you may make 3 moves.

    3. What's a move? There are 2 types. One is to add a composer to the list. The other is to change the placement of a particular composer already on the list.

    4. Please insure that you identify the moves you make.

Note: The list runs downward from best to worst.

Additional Note: When adding a composer, feel free to place that composer anywhere on the list that you like. When changing the placement, the maximum change is 3 spots on the list.

    My 3 moves for today:

    Bach
    Mahler
    Scriabin

When we add a new name, should we place it at the end of the list or in any position we like?

Can you still change the placement however many places you like? I feel like it'd be interesting if we capped that.

I agree. Placements can't be changed more than 3 spots on the list.

This gives a huge advantage to late additions (when placing them on the top of the list).

This game has no ending, so I don't see any problem. Also, it gives an incentive for participants to add their least liked composers at the bottom of the list to preclude those late additions to the list. Hey, it's just a game, but I do want to run it in an orderly manner.

We're doing well so far - no errors and no clashing.
