About two years ago I started a game series where each game was devoted to the favorite works of any member who submitted a "favorites" list.
As an example, there was a favorite solo keyboard category, and many members submitted their list for game purposes. The problem with this process was that there was much repetition among the submittals.
What I would like to do now is revise this series with a new rule that once a member submits a particular favorites list, no other member can submit a list of the same subject. Using the above example, once a member uses "My Favorite Solo Keyboard Works", nobody else may use the same subject.
Another new rule is that the list does not have to be "works" driven. It could be a list of favorite performers or composers as well, or favorite Russian composers or Italian composers etc.
I won't be submitting the first list unless nobody else does so in the next 24 hours or so.
Note: Your favorites list may range from a minimum of 10 line-items to a maximum of 20. Each game will be a one-rounder.
I look forward to your submittals which I will cover in chronological order.
Please keep in mind that the more narrow your subject matter, the more likely it is that participation will decline as well.
Make your submittals on this thread.
One more thing. Please do not submit more than once every few days. Give others the opportunity for their very own games.
