    Are we allowed to comment? Probably not. The word charismatic is overused. Bernstein had it genuinely in bucket loads. It partially emanated from his personal complexities but even without them it would have been true. He was a great conductor. He did a wonderful thing just six miles up the road from me at the Fairfield Hall, Croydon, UK. It is briefly on YouTube. But it is also the stuff he did with the children on Hindemith etc. It was amazing and so to be respected. An early broadcasting high. I loved that man. The sort of person who we all need and should never die. Personally, I'd have liked him to live for 200 years.

    Comments are certainly allowed as long as two requirements are met:

    1. Comments must be positive (your comment above is positive).

    2. Comments can't derail the purpose of a game thread which is to play the game. This would only happen if there were quite a few comments in a row that detracted from the game purpose. As I see it, comments are the bread and butter of most of the TC threads; they are a side-item in my games.
