    Ah well, Tristan has achieved the 100+ mark. Do we keep going with those remaining to arrive at a final disposition of the entire list?

    Was glad to see that 'Siegfried' hung in there - it is probably my favorite of the 4 or 1 + 3 if you consider 'Rheingold' as it is identified by W., as a Vorspiel.

    Yay, glad I don't have to do anymore calculations! Tristan is not a disappointment - without it Debussy's Pelleas et Melisande would sound differently, I think (as would a lot of the post-Tristan repertoire) - whatever Debussy's remarks re 'the Wagner Effect' might be. Just my feelings about it. I love the Debussy.
