    Default Game (nominations) Atonal Masterpieces!

Some say there ain't no such thang...

You can nominate three compositions per day

dont worry too much about technique (serial vs 12-tone etc) but generally most of Hindemith,Bartok, Debussy = tonal so outside this poll, along with pre-Agon Stravinsky , I reserve final determination for borderline cases

Webern - 5 Pieces for Orchestra op 10
    Stravinsky - Agon
Carter - Piano Concerto (Igor sez so!)

    Berg, Chamber Concerto
    [Schoenberg Piano Concerto]
    Boulez, Derive I

I see the Schoenberg Piano Concerto has already been nominated. Substitute:

    Schoenberg, Suite, Op 29

    I'll add:

    Ligeti - Chamber Concerto
    Ligeti - Lontano

I'm beginning to think this is just going to be a (more or less) post-1950 game. Do we include Schnittke even though his polystylism includes many tonal quotes/pastiches?

Depends on the Schnittke piece, Choir Concerto or Requiem would not work but the symphonies or Concerto Grossi would
