    I've been trying to identify this piece (is from my oldest's toy) since 2015...

    There is a certain familiarity to it but I can't place it. Thinking somewhere in the era of crooners like Perry Como through Dean Martin etc. Stuff they play at Olive Garden restaurant.

    I wonder if there is some computer application that will take that music clip and search the worldwide web for similar sounding segments, then report back to you on what pieces, where in them the sequence occurred, etc. If there is no such app, I believe it is entirely possible for a qualified person to write one.

    Sorry but it sounds more like a part for one particular instrument in a bigger orchestral score, rather than a melody in its own right. If that's the case, I doubt you'll find it in that form. Needs an orchestral player or twenty to listen to it and see if they recognise it. Good luck in your search.

    Somehow it sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it. To me it sounds more like a pop song.
