    Never heard this one. At times, Rossini influenced. Makes me want to see an entire album devoted to Bellini overtures. This recording's sonics are enjoyable with the solo oboe and cello so nice.

    Maybe I didn't scan thoroughly enough but I believe we have not done any opera overtures of Carl Maria von Weber. I'll leave the famous ones to others. Here's a short, delightful light-hearted one.

    Henry composed a number of theatrical works that are considered semi-operas. Here's the overture to one, but notice near the very beginning of the video the original publication calls it an "opera"
