Default Junior member, member, senior member, galactic member etc

I just noticed my status has changed from junior member to member. How does this work?

I believe it changes based on how many total posts you have.

One becomes a junior member at 10 posts, a member at 50 posts, and a senior member at 100. Nothing changes with that status after that.

Can we have a new membership status for over 4000 posts? Expert member? Superhero member?

Congrats on surpassing the 4,000 posts mark - who knew that there were over 4,000 Beethoven symphony cycles?

B was exhaustive. There was Beethoven Symphonies Abbado, Beethoven Symphonies Bernstein, etc.

Congratulations on becoming a senior member, HenryPenfold. You now get preferential treatment at the TC Bar and get to shop with the elderly, first thing in the morning at the TC Supermarket, before the locusts come in and strip the shelves.

What does it mean when a member's level says "Ret" in parentheses after the level (e.g., "Senior Member (Ret)")?

The member is deceased, I believe. I'm guessing that ret. means retired?

'...a violator of his word, a libertine over head and ears in debt and disgrace, a despiser of domestic ties, the companion of gamblers and demireps, a man who has just closed half a century without a single claim on the gratitude of his country or the respect of posterity...' - Leigh Hunt on the Prince Regent (later George IV).

I still think we should have another level after 'Senior'. Any suggestions? Geriatric member? Old Duffer member? Crusty member? Oh hang on I don't like the term 'crusty member'.
