    Default Friend Requests

Ever get friend requsts from a TC member you have never heard of before?

How can I get rid of the Notification flag at the top of my screen without either accepting or rejecting?

I hate to reject a request, but at the same time see no reason to accept when I have no recollection of any interaction with this person in the form of a PM or a comment on one of my posts.

One day you'll accept my FR, Fritz. You just don't realise how much it hurts, you rotter ! (*sobs uncontrollably)

Maybe they like your posts. Or your taste in music. Or whatever.
It's a compliment. Go ahead and accept.
If anything happens you don't like you can always remove them.

I actually am guilty of a worse crime. I have failed to extend friend requests very often, yet I have a lot of friends in my list. I guess it shows that there are a lot of good people (or friendly anyway) here at TC.

If anyone sends me a FR, here or TC I nearly always accept it
By and large most people here are friendly and decent. Don't think I've ever turned one down, tbh. I even accepted Itullian and he's a total #%*©!

You have two options for Friends Request notification in your personal control panel: 1) On; 2) Off.

The default setting is "On". Turning it off means you will not receive any/all friends requests.
