My name is Sally and I live in London, UK. I am working from home at the moment as a PA in a big corporate and I love all kinds of classical music, especially Mozart.
When I was younger I had classical voice training (soprano) and used to sing with the Royal Choral Society many moons ago! I was never a professional singer but did one or two solo gigs with the local music society.
Looking forward to reading the various threads here and contributing to discussion.
Welcome! I admire anyone who can sing. I've tried, but with just a voice, there's nothing between you and the audience, and it's kind of jarring, at least for me. I play woodwinds. At least I have something to hide behind and I have something to blame if everything doesn't go right.
Hi Sally, I was born in 'ammerfmiff, we moved to Dorset before I was 2, still here. I sang counter tenor until I was about 40, too much smoking ended that, finished with work, been retired for 21 years.
Greetings, Sally. Yes, you will probably start spending more and more money in the quest of this or that intriguing recording... Ask anyone here, how many copies they have of any given piece...
Hello London. A n00b from Canterbury here. I guess this is where we get our post-count up.
