    That much maligned, often with cause, brass instrument and predecessor to the tuba, the ophicleide, in the hands of a player who makes the best case possible for the beast. (Not so beastly after all.)

    That's a well known bassoon solo piece....the ophicleide player makes quite a good go of it until the end, the 16th note triplets are kind of a mess...it is difficult....but still, A for effort...
