Default Game: You have 10 years of life to give to the below composers.

Not sure if this sort of thing has been done already but here goes:

A genie has granted you ten years of musical productivity that you can distribute among composers in order to change musical history, for better or for worse.

Here you can distribute these years—you may vote once per day and up to 5 years added per composer. First to reach 100 added years wins.

    George Gershwin - 0
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart- 3 (+3)
    Felix Bartholdy-Mendelssohn - 0
    Frederic Chopin - 1 (+1)
    Claude Debussy - 0

    Henry Purcell - 0
    Alexander Scriabin - 2 (+2)
    Ludwig van Beethoven - 2 (+2)
    Alban Berg - 0
    Franz Schubert - 3 (+3)

Edit: I seem to have given myself a bonus year...well, the game is already in full swing and no harm done so poor Chopin will be able to keep his extra year

I treat my music like I treat my pets. It’s something to own, care about and curate with attention to detail. From a blog by hjr.

If there's one thing I've learned from science fiction movies, it's to not mess with the time continuum.

Don't worry, by posting I will back Beebert thereby allowing it. In fact I will give Schubert two.

    How it should be:

    George Gershwin - 0
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart- 15 (+5)
    Felix Bartholdy-Mendelssohn - 0
    Frederic Chopin - 3
    Claude Debussy - 0

    Henry Purcell - 0
    Alexander Scriabin - 7 (+5)
    Ludwig van Beethoven - 2
    Alban Berg - 0
    Franz Schubert - 13

    What it is now:

    George Gershwin - 0
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart- 20
    Felix Bartholdy-Mendelssohn - 0
    Frederic Chopin - 5
    Claude Debussy - 0

    Henry Purcell - 0
    Alexander Scriabin - 7
    Ludwig van Beethoven - 3
    Alban Berg - 0
    Franz Schubert - 15

Now mind you, Mozart will live till 1811.

Realdealblues, can't add more than 5 years each. Try resubmitting.

I am confused. Are you the game owner despite someone else starting the game?

What we have here is a member overstepping his position in the game. Until Chu comes back, I'm assuming that Mozart has 28 points. The author of post 9 might resubmit or not. One thing for sure is that he would not give Mozart less than the 5 point maximum. I think that's the best way to handle this until Chu makes his decisions.

Since it is allowed to not use all 10 years but not allowed to give more than 5 years I would say I agree with you and assume for now that Mozart was given 5 years. You're the expert at making games anyways so I trust your judgment

The current official game total is:

    George Gershwin - 5
    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - 28
    Felix Bartholdy-Mendelssohn - 6
    Frederic Chopin - 5
    Claude Debussy - 3

    Henry Purcell - 0
    Alexander Scriabin - 7
    Ludwig van Beethoven - 8
    Alban Berg - 3
    Franz Schubert - 20
