Default How do I stop the site from e-mailing me new posts on subscribed threads?

With all due respect, it's basically spamming my e-mail inbox. If I want to see new posts, I'm happy to simply log into the forum and look for them.

Trouble is, I've been looking through my user control panel and don't know where to look to turn this function off.

    Thanks in advance

Towards the top of any forum page right underneath where it reads "Welcome <user>", there is a pull-down menu for "Quick Links". Click on that and then click on "Subscribed Threads". That will show a listing of those threads you have "subscribed" to. You can clear that list by checking the boxes to the right and selecting an option from the option box below those.

Also, click on your "User ControlPanel" (on that same brown bar) and select "Edit Options". Scroll down to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and select "Do not subscribe." (which is the forum default), then scroll all the way to the bottom and click on "Save Changes".

Let us know if this solves the issue or if you need additional assistance

What I am experiencing is no notification of posts that I subscribe to, this happens for say 2-3 days then back to normal is it due to the recent outage.

Thanks for the note, Andante. It could be related to the recent outage and subsequent rebuilding of the forum pages. We will persue this and work for a resolve.

I checked your settings for this and you should be getting "Instant email notification". You might try resetting that switch in your User Control Panel and see if it helps.
