Default Game (nominations): It's a young man's game

Welcome to a game suggested some time ago by one of our members.

This game focuses on compositions created by composers who at the time were 24 years or younger. For simplicity's sake, I'll take age as 'Year of completion of the work' - 'Year of birth' and don't bother with actual days.

You can nominate one work per your calendar day. I'm capping number of works per composer at 3, so choose wisely.

The format for nomination is as follows:
Composer's family name - Work name - Year of birth - Year of completion of the work

    My pick for today:

    Shostakovich - Symphony No. 1 in F minor - 1906 - 1925

Based on the lists of my favorite works, I still have 17 nominations from 12 composers, not including chamber works.
