Default the enigma of posting one's avatar

I looked in 'settings' and I looked in 'my profile'. I saw no hint of being able to post an avatar. What am I missing in my 71 years? - David

You might need a few more posts before the software here allows you to do that.

The procedure is to click Settings, then go down to My Settings and click Edit avatar.

    Indeed, there's a minimum requirement:

Once you have completed the required 10 posts (in any of the Classical Music forum threads) ... AND ... repeat, and, up to 12 hours has elapsed since the 10th posting, regardless of how many more posts greater than 10 have been submitted, you will then gain access to your profile.

The "up to 12 hours" is to allow all the database tables to update, and that task is performed once every 12 hours automatically at random times.

Art, would it be OK if I kept you in my back pocket? You are both a gem and a font of information. - David

No I would not think of sitting on Art Rock.

The avatar came to fruition, just as Art predicted. He is a rock-solid sage. - David Lyga
