That's one of the most famous pieces no one knows the name of. Luigi Boccherini - String Quintet in E Major, Op.11 No.5, menuet. It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, does it?

haha, exactly! i just can't believe it! for some reason i was assured that it is going to be Vivaldi and a familiar name as a title of this piece. I heard it on the radio today, it is really famous piece often to be heard, but i had no idea that its name/origin is so obscure.
Anyway, thanks for identifying it!
always makes me think of the film "the ladykillers" (the original classic version, with Alec Guinness), which was perhaps the first time i heard it. it was the piece they pretended to rehearse while they were secretly planning their bank heist.
