    I play piano, cello and tuba. I really love orchestral works in particular - I'm absolutely crazy on piano concertos. My friends think I'm mad

    I've just seen your message & guess you must be young. Yes the Grieg piano concerto is good but what about the Brahms, Beethoven, Schumann, Bartock, Shostakovich, Prokofiev.........and many more. Must confess in his 250th year I'm getting a bit fed up with Mozart. Hope you're spreading your ears.

    I'm absolutely crazy about Beethoven's 3rd concerto! I think it's very under-rated. Going to see a piano concerto performed is probably one of the most fantastic experiences you can have. However, I am also very partial to harpsichord concertos. Particularly Bach. Such a beast! Romantic concertos are definately more passionate though, if you want to see something amazing...
