    Hello I just registered here


    I am a college student who is a fan of classical music!
    As my name states I love Mahler!! He is my favorite!!

    I like alot of other artists such as: WA Mozart, Chopin, Haydn, Franz Liszt, Vivaldi, Ravel, Yo-Yo Ma and many others!!

    My main area of interest is the Romantic and 20th century periods, though occasionaly I can wander into other periods.

    I hope to have a great time here!!

    Default also a Mahler fan!

    Mahler is my favorite composer probably also. I've owned his complete symphonies from Bernstein on DG and Bertini on EMI. Mahler was much like Bruckner in the since that he was always reworking his music, prehaps the most reworked was his 5th which is my favorite, but their is brilliant ideas in all of his symphonies and songs.

    I own the same set!

    I love the first and recently the 6th....the drama of the piece...it inspires a movie of epic proportion!!
