There are a lot of scores that are NOT public domain on that site. I doubt that its going to be up for long.

Why not? It appears the site is simply a search engine and does not host files itself, no problem!

It depends on where the server is located I guess. In the United Stats, and I believe in the EU as well, copyright holders can and do sue organizations that facilitate the dissemination of copyrighted material even if they don't actually host the material themselves.
That was how the original Napster got shut down a few years back. Napster never hosted a single file on its servers, it only allowed its users to connect with each other and share their own files.

The server would appear to be based in Russia (url of site you're diverted to is www.classicscores.narod.ru). I could see scores by Birtwistle and Stockhausen in apparently poor scans.

no one of indexed sites are not mine. i only index them. i hope that there will be no problem of copyright with the search. With google you can find copyright matirial and thats ok. i think that the same will be to my search.

There a lot of sites that doesn't take care of the copyright of some scores. then they shoul remove them.

    i hope)))

    Default New version of search

    Main improvements and additions:

There was added lists of Composers, Instruments and Tags to make search easy and improve it quality.

Improved accuracy of the search: earlier because of the cutoff endings of short words, such as, for example, "aria" in the search results was a lot of unnecessary items. Now stemming works only for long words

Improved ranking of results: first, now displays the results with exact matches to the search query, then the results obtained by detecting the query keywords, instruments and composers, and then remaining on the old search results.

The navigation in search result is improved by adding composers, instruments and tags.
