  1. The Nightmare: Chapter 9

It was around 10 o'clock at night. Alexandrov had gone looking for his wife 12 hours straight, but was so tired that he left the other authorities to keep searching. But he refused to go to sleep. Instead, he sat and prayed.

Alexandrov had a wife named Natasha. They lived in a beautiful apartment in the richer district of the city. Yet they didn't always have the best of marriages. It was Alexandrov's habit to dive into his work and never get out until weeks later, when his cases were finished, to the neglect of his wife. Now was the beginning of one of those periods.
Natasha was never sure how to express herself when this would happen. She would tell herself that it was all for his sake, since he provided

    It was a double homicide.

In no time, everyone in the city heard about it. The story was all in the papers, and crowds rushed to the apartment to see if they could get any news. This is what could be the police were able to figure out so far:
Early that morning, neighbors called saying they heard a scream a little after sunrise in a nearby apartment, followed by a few softer yells. The police came to that apartment, and knocked on the door, but no one answered. They broke
