  1. The Podcast Directories

This wee's Tuesday Blog doesn't have a musical theme and illustration, but rather 75.

Starting on April 1st 2011, I have produces a new music montage almost every week - as of last Friday, I had 83. In a shameless bit of self-promotion, I wanted to provide TCers with a detailed directory of my first 75 music montages - nearly 100 hours of music, all of which is accessible anytime on the Internet Archive.

  2. Once Upon the Internet: The Piano Music of Maurice Ravel

    En français

Earlier this month on my Friday Blog and Podcast, I provided a sample of orchestral and piano music by Maurice Ravel to commemorate the 75th annioversary of his passing. Today’s post is meant to rectify this sin of omission from my part.

Vierne and Widor are the subject of my Friday Podcast

  4. Beethoven Concertos on YouTube

    En français

  5. Healey Willan (1880-1968)

    En français

For this fourth and final installment of our Lenten organ series, we will veer off our French organ path and look at the music of another composer/organist, long-time Toronto resident Healey Willan.

According to the Canadian Encyclopedia, Healey Willan maintained that he was born with the ability to read music and, when he was four-and-a-half, both his mother
