Dear Trout: Thanks for the compliment :) It seems some of TC's penalties are wholly justified, other times, what I've seen as to what is meted out and to whom seems nearly random and capricious. There are not enough monitors, and sometimes things are mistaken completely out of context. I'm afraid I have no faith that even trying full out to avoid anything in the shape of offense to warrant penalties, they sometimes still happen. This means I am on TC until I am, arbitrarily or deserved as per the rules, no longer on TC :) People come back under a new name, not to mention some current members -- of which I'm sure the mods are aware -- and it seems there is nothing set up to present such new screen personae from being used :)

    Thanks again.

Glad you enjoyed Job, Trout. It certainly is a remarkable work. I own all the recordings of the work but my favorite is Richard Hickox/Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra on EMI. Truly a fantastic performance through and through. One of the most moving sections of Job, for me, was the beginning of Job's Dream. It's quite subdued so you may have to crank up the volume to hear this beautiful, long line that goes through some variation for a minute and a half or however long that opening section is. These subtle moments permeate many of RVW's works and you have kind of be attentive to catch them. Part of my screen name comes from his Symphony No. 5. The slow movement Romanza. Anyway, keep on listening and I look forward to your comments regarding the symphonies.

Very cool, Trout. Vaughan Williams is a favorite of mine. Have you heard his Job: A Masque for Dancing yet? Absolutely incredible work.
