Every once and awhile, post a composer or twelve...
Recently bought HJ Lim's set of Beethoven piano sonatas from iTunes. There are in total 98 music files, plus the booklet (which is why I bought from the iTunes store rather than Amazon).
40 of the files are m4a, which can play fine everywhere. 58 are m4p, which can't. They are DRM copy...

I recently bought Beethoven's quartet cycle by Quartetto Italiano
and it skips terribly on my main listening CD player, which is a CalAudio (California Audio Labs Mark II) player that I purchased a couple decades ago (sold to me as "high-end").
The same player does not cause skips on many...
