  1. News, Concerts and Events
Starting off a new thread to cover the RLPO 2015-16 concert season, launched last night in style by Vasily Petreno in his usual good humour. A very popular programme, featuring the Rachmaninov Second Piano concerto but was given an immaculate performance by Ji Liu, who I think quite wisely did...
  2. Woodwind and Brass

  3. Today's Composers
well i have started this in sibelius due to an open commission from a brass quartet (meaning it is just a request to any composer, not me in specific), and the quartet wanted a midi playback so i decided that i might as well just composed directly onto sibelius. feedback is great as usual.

  10. The Movie Corner: Music for Cinema and TV
Okay, so I've posted this question before with no viable answer, only speculation, so here goes another attempt. What I can say is that the song I'm thinking of has appeared in three different instances that I can recall: -first, it was featured in the TV show "Friends" in the episode "The One...

  12. Woodwind and Brass
