I have seen a few posts by "guests", and am not sure as to what exactly they are. One member even seems to have turned from a regular member into a guest - or maybe it's just my memory playing up. Could somebody enlighten me please? I am curious.

What do you think of Verklärte Nacht? I ask because I am curious whether it is the atonality that drives some people away from Schoenberg, or the Teutonic heaviness.

I am curious about the 10" vinyl release format in doing my research. I know that a bunch of Blue Notes were pressed that a ways but curious to see if any classical music managed to hit that format. Plus it seems to be a lot easier to store?

Which of Bartok's string quartets would you say are the least (traditionally) tonal? Just curious what people's opinions are. I happen to think the middle quartets are more challenging for some reason.
