I think it would be cool to have a SoloMusic encyclopedia/dictionary of musical terms. A section of the site that is just published material that people can read, like on how to perform using certain techniques and how to execute them on their instruments. James could write a tutorial on all the stuff he learned from Shlomo. ;)

P.S.
Minor suggestion: When you click on the username of someone, you are taken to a page with their info. The big username you see above their picture sort of takes away from the style of the site, I think. Maybe my browser just interprets the html differently than others. Could you stick a
or two underneath the username and see how it looks? Thanks. :)

Minor suggestion #2: You could make an option under My Controls that allows people to delete their accounts if they don't want to use them any more.

I'm never an advocate of account deletion unless there is a legal or moral reason to do so.

As for the
hopefully this gets fixed, because the coding is just not compatible with some web browsers...

Have you seen the number of people that have signed up for accounts that haven't posted anything in months? They're weird. That's why I say that.

even so, just because they don't post, doesn't mean they don't use it...

There are many forums that I am a member of that I just sign up, so that I can get updates on stuff...

Also, there are many forums that I am a member of, that I don't post in their "regular" forums, and only post in their "hidden forums".

Hidden forums only can be accesed by single priviliged ;) user groups like moderators only, admins only etc. Solomusic doesn't have hidden forums though.

yes, but on my forums, I always have hidden forums for specified user groups, and/or friends. For example. One of the forums I run, has a hidden section just for those who also go to Penn State, etc.

Wow. That is really cool. B) We need those here. I can't wait now. I have already peed myself with excitement. I have to go now.

P.S.
Maybe we special "important" people like Max, Nox, Oistrach13, baroque flute, and myself should get special badges for our "Group" like "Moderator" or "Important Person" or something of the sort. :D :p

How do you know if they go to Penn State or not? Hmmm. I think I have a friend who goes there. Are you going there? I will see whether or not he is...

I have it set that all members with a @psu.edu email address (once verified) automatically get inserted, if they don't use that, they can PM me and I'll add them. Also, if I know that they are, I'll add them myself.

oh and yea, I'm going there (look in my signature  )
