I will be quite honest, I am not familiar with most of the composers in this round, and with my aversion to most 20th century classical music I am not eager to do the deep dive necessary for meaningful voting in this round. Joplin I am fairly familiar with but for me he is fairly "meh". About the only other work I kind of know is Barber's Violin Concerto.
Other than William Schuman (of whom I know very little) and Bloch, I have to confess almost complete ignorance of the contestants in this round. I will sit this round out. Reich, Crawford-Seeger and MacDowell are names I do recognize, and since MacDowell is a Romantic era composer, I may give his Piano Concertos a spin.
The one work by Bloch that I love is Schelomo (Solomon), which he composed just before coming to America. I am surprised he is even in this contest and/or round,
