Not sure. It's possible I suppose. I couldn't find any info on whether or not he orchestrated it beyond the heavy collaboration with the premier's soloist whilst writing..not an unusual state of affairs for any composer.

The post said that Elfman has nothing to do with classical music and this is false: he composes classical music not only for film scores, but also for other standalone formats.I don't pretend anything. My reading of the OP led me to conclude that this discussion is supposed to be about Elfman's film music. The OP can't come back and clarify, but he said:
I find Elfman a true genius whose music is great as accompaniment to film and stand alone works of art.
There was no reference to any other music.
I took "stand alone works of art" not to refer to his non-film music, but to the idea that his film music can stand alone (as is often argued here about the best film music.)
You need to read more carefully. It did not say that. The post said that Elfman has nothing to do with classical music and this is false: he composes classical music not only for film scores, but also for other standalone formats.
If someone tell us us that his music is not classical, then he must be able to indicate which is the correct definition of the genre.
It's quite curious that the people with exclusionary views are never able to indicate what is the genre of the music that according to them is not classical.
What is the genre of the music of Elfman, if not classical music?
I've also asked this question 1'000 times in the thread about film music and I never got any reply.
