I think the review was of Walkurie only. I refer you to a review of Siegfried as I have not listened to this set in a while. The reviewer starts out,
"The main reason for owning this Siegfried is for the work of tenor Jean Cox in the title role."

I think that he's among the best Siegfrieds on record. He sounds reasonably youthful and musical, has a pleasant voice, and doesn't oversing. I largely agree with Levine's review on Classics Today - overall, this is among the better cast recordings of Siegfried, and the sonics are excellent.
