There are other pieces on the list which could appear as a collection at first glance (Monteverdi - Selva Morale, Schütz - Schwanengesang, Muffat - Apparatus and many others), however, they are composed as a whole.

Besides, the Rosary Sonatas were clearly composed as one work. You can recognize it by the logical-liturgial sequence of the pieces which follow the sequence that a praying man or woman uses when praying with a rosary.

Furthermore, each of the pieces uses another scordatura, no repetitions, to show as many possibilities as possible.
