Welcome to the series of games titled What's another year. It is based on a suggestion by @Shaughnessy. Image above is in public domain (link).

Every game will focus on compositions from one particular year, from 1919 until 2018. Yes, I'm shooting for 100 games and possibly a follow-up (an overarching game with the 3 highest classified works of each year).

The games (years) are run in randomized order. Game 16 is the year 1939. For information, the next game will be the year 1923.

Each game will have a nomination phase and a game phase (in one thread).

You can nominate one composition per day, from the year that is the game year. Eligible compositions are those listed on the Wikipedia pages or any others that are composed in the year. As soon as we have sixteen works, the game will start.

Please use this lay-out for the nominations (including first name), so I can easily cut and paste:

1. Sergei Prokofiev - Alexander Nevsky Cantata, Op. 78

That was quick - I did not even get a second nomination. Game will start in a few hours.
The rules:

1) you may vote once during your calendar day.
2) you have 10 points to distribute, but no composition may receive more than 4 points (deviating from the Bulldog games). Just copy/paste the latest board and add your votes.
3) there is no halfway elimination of compositions with low scores.
4) the game ends with the first composition to reach 80 points.
5) at the end of the round, the top ten compositions will be recognized, the top three will qualify for an extra game.
6) do not post negative remarks on any of these compositions, feel free to discuss them positively, and at any time you may post YouTube links to their works.

If there is anything unclear, just ask.
