No. No response is necessary. In fact, some people use the "Like" button to indicate that they have read the latest response and do not wish to participate further in the conversation.

Like that I like every post in this thread, but cannot like my own posts (why not?). Why should I not be able to like my own post? Even a candidate for president of the United States can vote for himself. Why is this site so restrictive?

If memory serves me correctly the Queen of Denmark does not vote at all so as to remain non influenced by any of the political parties. So, she can't like herself.

I can't like myself either ... and if I can't,then nobody can like themselves ... err ... umm ... I mean that you can "like" yourself as in liking who you are and what you do in life, but not here.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure that what you read is not what I meant! :lol:
