Hi everyone, who can help me identify this song?

It is sung by a guy in a cool, subdued tone. The main theme goes something like: "doooo not a thing" (??) which is immediately followed by a characteristic guitar riff that goes something like this and repeats many times throughout the song:

(recorded on my digital piano)

That's all I've got.
I can't tell its genre, possibly country music. And it is probably a fairly old song.

Thanks in advance!

Here's a new sample that includes another sound that represents the vocal part (more or less). So now you can hear the vocal part + the guitar.

I first heard this song ages ago as a young boy, probably something like 30 years ago, and it caught my attention.
Recently I heard it again somewhere, but only for a little while and I recognized it immediately. But I still don't know what song it is! This is driving me nuts! :D
