Luca Turilli
Anyone familiar with Italian metal maestro Luca Turilli? Probably my favorite non-classical (tho classical-inspired) artist out there! Mostly known for his role in the symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire, as well as various side-projects, later bands after leaving Rhapsody, and has a solo piano album coming!
To clarify; he was the lead guitarist of Rhapsody of Fire (which he cofounded in the early 90s, then left mid 2000s). His current band is Turilli / Lione Rhapsody, and has the aforementioned piano album upcoming.
