I'm planning on going to the Met in the near future, and I want to snag my ticket soon.
Has anyone been there and know what good seats are?
My plan is to sit in the balcony, but my concern is sound and view. I can sit in the front left or closer to the center farther back.
If I am towards the left will the sound be ok? I've been to many orchestra concerts and usually I've found that the sound from the side is fine, but the Met could be another creature entirely. I worry if I sat farther back though, someone tall might sit in front of me and block my view. One of the few opera performances I've been to (different theater) I had to strain to see around someone's head. 😖
