Hello People,

I just had a good idea on improving the calendar of Talk Classical. Why don't we add the anniversaries of the composers and the premier dates of important compositions? I've noticed that many people are posting composer birthdays in a thread in Classical Music Discussion section, but why don't we incorporate them all into the calendar--wouldn't that be better? Anyway, just a fun idea which worths some discussions.

The option exists, however ad admin would have to manually enter each and every composer and dates one at a time, a monumental task to say the least. We're talking months if not years just doing that task ... they don't pay me enough to even want to consider it.

Personally, I have no interest in spending that amount of time when there are a plethora of websites that have already done the work. One of my favorites is [http://http://www.classical.net/music/composer/dates/comp9.php]Classical Net[/url]. A very complete listing.

Btw, I did get a 45% raise last year!! 45 X 0 = $0.00 :lol: ut:
