My anti-bucket list includes seeing a Wagner opera live; not only is it opera but it is likely more than 4 hours long.
Yep. I guess when the tattoo fad was starting, it was cool to have a tattoo but now more people have tattoos than not so at some point I expect it will become cool to not have tattoos.Getting a tattoo. No way. Even aside from the aspect that it the process is painful and the result permanent (save for extensive treatments), I absolutely see no point in it.
Congratulations on 23 years! Regarding the children...do you mean having children? Having children is not something normally on peoples bucket list.Definitely seconding the cruise, bungee jumping, and golf.
A controversial one (judging from discussions with family and friends): getting children. Early in our marriage (which will be hitting 23 years in a few weeks), my wife and I decided that we did not need children in our life. We never regretted it.
Yes people generally want to have children in life but its not something normally on a bucket list.Yes, having children. Seems most people find it one of the main targets in life (whether you want to call it part of a bucket list or not), we do not.
This wasn't on my list but I did it anyway because the weather got too bad to spend another day in the Zion national park...Visit Las Vegas
Oh, how I wish I’d never started. I’ve set a date of 1st August this year. I’ve managed 2-years, and 6-months at different times, and stopped during Covid lockdown. Crept back again each time. This Summer it’ll be, “Never again”!Smoking.
I believe that is on nature's bucket list.Yes people generally want to have children in life but its not something normally on a bucket list.
I enjoy drinking Guinness but I don’t hold that against you. The foul liquid at the party around the corner must be serving 🍺 beer mixed with urine but I don’t hold it against them. Drinking Guinness in Dublin is not on my bucket list but eating a taco 🌮 in Mexico actually was and I managed to check off that particular item on an excursion in Mexico during previously mentioned cruise. 😃A few more bucket list ideas down, on that crappy site I was looking at, and I see this one.....
Drink A Guinness In Dublin
The major problem here is that I absolutely hate Guinness. Never liked it at all so why bother going all the way to Dublin (not exactly a cheap place to stay, either) to drink an utterly foul liquid I last sampled at a party around the corner from my house? Personally I'd rather drink brandy (which I despise) from a dog's bowl in Blackpool (a tacky dump). This thread is definitely revealing my grumpy side.
Hmm, a 90 minute drive south to cross the border to eat a taco then a 3 hour wait to cross back over the border, not to mention a potential case of Montezuma's Revenge ... I have ate tacos 🌮 in San Diego and I agree those were better than the ones I had in Mexico. You can get equally good (if not better) Mexican food in San Diego.
Well, I'll go along to the extent of going to the Super Bowl, itself. I don't go to many live sporting events, but they can be exciting. I recall two Knicks/Bulls playoff games during the Ewing/Jordan era. And a few years back, I won the Wimbledon lottery and got courtside seats to watch Andy Murray win the Gentlemen's Finals.Going to a Super Bowl party.
Buying a juicing machine or any other overpriced gadget advertised on TV.
Going to a stadium for any kind of sporting event or overpriced pseudo musical experience.
Ending up in a nursing home if I live too long.
