Some people just like to harness outrage for the sake of attention.

Outrage at privileged, elite, white people is in fashion. What's next? Science is elitist because all the famous scientists are white men?

Finding life on Venus would be very scary for our future. I never realized, but the logic is interesting. Maybe I can find the video, but maybe you already know the logic?

Scary? What's scary about finding microorganisms in the atmosphere of Venus? Or were you thinking technologically advanced Venucians with hostile intentions?

If life exists elsewhere in the universe, it's creates religious and philosophical issues; the concept of God would have to become a little more elastic, as the Bible is quite Earthcentric.

Science has pretty much taken care of the geocentric claims in the Bible; we don't need evidence of aliens to convince those people who already know the universe is not geocentric and those who are not convinced by science already will never change their minds.
