Since the game is over, please allow me to comment:

Aside from K563, which really belongs in the category of string quartets, quintets,
I feel that K334 is a class on its own, for its use of form, contrast, lyricism, and chromaticism. This is really Mozart's "greatest essay" in the Divertimento genre. And it's even a greater work than his lesser symphonies, even rivalling Sinfonia Concertante K364 in quality. I feel every one of the movements are alive with charm and fluidity and occasional 'darker' colors of operatic drama. (the D minor variations of Andante, which starts off with the same motif as Allegro, being particular noteworthy)

Listen to these sections
3:00~3:40
9:50~10:10
14:10~14:40
20:20~20:40
25:00~26:00

I cannot agree with the decision of many members here to put it at 4th place - almost makes me wonder if we're listening to the same music.
I feel that K361 is just famous for the Adagio movement which featured as soundtrack for that 'film'.
K361 has prominent flute melodies in Rondeau, and has a darker, dramatic andantino movement for contrast but still not as great as K334. Really it is K334 that blows both K320, K361 out of the water. And I agree that K375 is the most uninspired of the five.

At least my two favorites on the list made it into the top five K 375, K 563.

I don't particularly like the "grand partita." It strikes me as bloated and overlong.

K 334 is also my favorite of the works on the list.

Although not always successful, I keep trying to keep in mind that we have a limited number of participants. As a result, game outcomes can easily be all over the place compared to what's expected through general consensus.

What I most take away from this game is that Mozart's serenades and divertimentos are both delicious and crystal clean. When in the right mood, this music is perfect for listening.

I couldn't agree with you more, Bulldog. Like you and Highwayman, the K334 is my top choice on the favorites list. By a fair margin, I find it more satisfying overall than the Gran Partita. I think there's some truth to Baron Scarpia's characterization that the latter can be somewhat "bloated and overlong".
